I enjoy tutoring because of the opportunity to focus on one individual and to help them with their learning needs. I adapt my teaching approach to give the student an individualized experience that is effective and efficient. I've been very successful as a tutor. As one example, I've tutored middle school algebra students who experienced an average improvement of two letter grades. I can tutor algebra, geometry, history, reading, social studies, Spanish, English, test preparation, and more. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and guitar, listening to music, skiing, hiking, and getting outdoors.
